In about to start my own growing and I really like the closet. I was thinking about building My own closet .would out be possible to grow and and flower in the same room? And Also would aluminum foil be a good reflector on the wall? I'm wanting to grow maybe 4-6 pants at a time.and woof a 200 watt light be ok?
is a home made grow closet ok??

The best reflector (as far as i know) is mylar.
Its cheap and easy to get on ebay and you can find sellers willing to sell it by the metre.
As for a closet. Dimensions maybe? What you have available and what your planning?

As for vegging and flowering in the same enclosure, im pretty sure it would be easier with the same strains.
My current grow is five different plants in one enclosure for veg and flower but im gonna have to put alot of work into LST to maximise the potential of my space. This means daily maintenance of my plants and this wouldnt suit everyone.

I think closets are one of the best places - particularly for stealth. The biggest issue is usually ventillation though. And space wise, it can be hard to accomodate more than 3-4plants in a 1mx1m floor space depending on grow style.

200 watts wont do 6 plants unless you did them 12/12 from seed...and maybe not even then, so issue number one...
Issue number 2 is that you can't simultaneously veg and flower in the same area unless you only run autoflower plants...but you can veg your selected number of plants, and then switch the lights over the same space and flower those same plants, then switch it back to start again..so you can do a variation...veg your plants long enough to finish an autoflower, then switch the lights to 12/12 when the auto is done, and you will have something to smoke and some plants that are ready to flower, but you would have to train them of they would be really large...
and of course you can build a grow space...lol.

My friend is a carpenter , i'm thinking about 5 wide 8 long 7 foot high?? I'm still trying to get the understanding of how i'm gonna do my vent system.I want lighting that can be used for veg a well as flowering any suggestion? until i'm familiar with everything I will start small in my number of plants

I vege/clone seperate otherwise it's a dead system..have to start fresh at the end of a grow! I crop every 8-10 week's (even though everyone say's 8 week's it's not fully ripe until 10 week's in, most of the time with my variety's, Aluminum foil is danderous and should be avoided at all cost's ...white paint (flat) mylar cheap (Buy Space Blankets(emergrncy blanket's ) at the camping store) any thing else!!! I run 1000 watts with the cool thru you see I can keep my hand on it under the bulb comfortably..no heat. I use the A.C. to maintain the temp at 77 degrees, and keep humidity down. I use UVB lamps from a pet store later in vege and in flower I grow 4-6 plants with Co2 Boost Bucket's room is sealed 99.9%, Yeild'a avg.700-1100gram's. I clone and then vege 8 week's to feed the flower room and start seed's inbetween 1/2 of my vege room allT5's other T5's and 2, 200 watt cfl's Have third room not using now 4X4X7 w/2-400 watt hps.Yield too high to need, my scale down grow as only looking for 2 oz. week for my need's. I get 30-32 oz. now every 8-10 weeks. Jar's are stacking up need to slow it the fuck down don't wan't to be sitting on it but don't want to stop growing for a while!

Might be a little late to chime in here, but yes I think a home made closet is better if you have the time and the know how to build a solid system. It all depends on your budget and how much time you have. Personally, I don't trust my skills as I can't even put together ikea furniture. I just bought a super locker from http://www.fullbloomhydroponics.net/super-locker-2-0-grow-closet/ but I heard the cabinets that cabinetgrow makes are really good for the $ too.

As far as carpentry goes, building a box is the equivalent of vincent vangou doodling a pair of tits on the back of his homework.
As a stealth cab grower, I'd say your most important issues will be heat build up, and not enough headroom for flowering- you always see an awesome stealth grow all set up on here, with all the lights on over some seedlings, but then you notice the lights are already up as far as they'll go- now what the fuck? You think they'll grow like pancakes??
venting your box is simple even for ppl who cant afford a real inline fan. I have a 6" round flexible vent running up to the bottom of my box with a 15$ fan that fit the hole blowing in fresh air, then at the roof of the box there is another hole, with another cheap fan blowing the hot air out. I had 2 150 watt hps in there and temps in the 90's STILL with all that air!! I did get 2 harvest like that, but in this summer heat I'm switching to cfl because they dont heat up a box as bad
so just remember, FRESH AIR, HEAT, HEADROOM- or FAHH as we all call it on roll it up

lol .. dont worry ... Im a Mettal worker/smet .. building machines for the medical and textile industrie .. and I have problems with Ikea furnitures
mostly with ther copy of a copy of the guide with numbers of each part .. but do the parts have numbers on them !
and of course ther lack of screews and nails . allways seems to miss some ..
actualy dont shop ther anymore .. after I found out that they dont pay/avoyd taxes .. no wonder they can keep them low prices then and all the small shops close .. Ooh well of topic here it seems ..
since I realy hope you can build your own room .. or the one I just build must be a illusion:
as I see it .. if you got 10 tumps and dont enjoy building and have money ... buy a tent .. if you like buidling stuff .. safeing money and get things like you want em .. get to it !
best of luck .. and make sure to do some research before buying stuff like lamps .. ventilators .. carbon filtes aso. its realy sucks to find out the one you got is to small/big/wrong ..
do it right .. and 110% . cant do this half .. unless you want to be one of them semi nubs who keep a half dead plant in a small closed with no air excance and a 25W clf ..
