Is advertised flowering period for amber trichomes?

It is advertised to finish after 8 weeks of flowering and I am wondering if that time means how long it will take the bud to have amber trichomes or just cloudy trichomes.

In any case how long does it take for them to change color once they become cloudy and about after how many weeks (of flowering) should I look to harvest them?

If you are looking for lower CBD's (higher energy), then earlier is better. As time goes on the yield increases but so does CBD Basically it all comes down to balance, but as the grower you have your preference. It's kind of like cooking pasta.
