Dude i agree. RIU was so much better a few years ago. I think a lot of the older, wiser people have left, and now it seems there are tons of younger, less mature people on this site. So much of the conversation has turned from growing herb to politics.

pmsl i forgot now its been sooo long. only jokin. so im in bubblers ec ive been upping and is at 1.7 and regardless of my ph being set at 5.8 it drops to low 4s in 12 hrs. roots are clean white n healthy and tops are too. 1 week into flowerin but still on aqua vega. looks good but not for long with that drop in ph. 40ltr res, rhiznotonic,canazyme, canna aqua, res temp 19, room temp 22. any help and this older grower would be very happy.
Tap water? How long do you let your nutes mix with the water before use? How soon does your pH jump up?

tap waters at 0.4 and sits for 24 hrs then mix all nutes, leave for 1hr then ph down to 5.8. ive seen it drop to 5.2 in under 12 hrs.
Have you tried letting you nutes mix in longer before checking or adjusting the pH?

yah, i was thinking the same thing.. maybe let the nutes and water site for say 12 hours, then check the ph, and if needed, up or down it.. should keep it more stable this way..

none of the other local growers let it stand for 24 hr or the nute mix for 12hrs, they are on the same water and strain but will give it a try tonight. will post results ok...thanx

ok tried that and still have a drop but only by 0.3 so its sitting at 5.6 and we will see if it carrys on dropping...thanx for advise and fingers crossed.
