Is boiling flowers in water enough to fully decarb?

I'm making canna butter but with coconut oil instead. When boiling, is 212 for an hour enough to decarb fully?

Should I bake the oil after for 20 min at 275 f ?

You would need to boil it for a long time to decarb it, or use a very concentrated brine.
I would decarb the material prior to making the oil personally.

Yeah I forgot! Lol. Looking at the time and temperature chart for decarbing; I'd get somewhere around 12% at 51 min between 223 degrees and 201degrees. I think I'll go for 2 hours.

If you think you need to decarb before you bake, you should decarb the cannabis before extracting. Place dry cannabis on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven at 252F for 27 min. Longer is not better as you can see from Jump's chart, THC starts to decrease.

You don't mean you submerge the flowers in water do you?!

Also coconut oil doesn't boil at 212F. It will burn off before it boils. If you're making oil and you plan to leave it in the crock pot or stove for a half a day or more then consider less or not decarbing as it will happen during your continued heating.

If you DO want to decarb coconut oil for eatables. It is best that you bake the flowers in the oven first, the above chart is good place to start.
