you can use both as far as I'm concerned, I use rainwater, not as pure as distilled but damn near.My tap water has a ph of 8.3 so i went and bought some spring water. I know your not supposed to use distilled water. what about water that has went through micron filtration? is that the same thing or what?
so your tap waters 8.3 and rainwater is over 9, I'd say your ph tester is fucked, just a guess LOLi collected a bunch of rain water and it had a ph of like 9+

i use bottled water and always have done! its better than tap water as it doesnt have the clorhine
Distilled is fine I think, but you may have to add some things down the road
NEVER SAID IT WAS. Here in the Pacific Northwest it's damn near though.nothing pure about rainwater
Is melted snow similar to rain water in chemical composition, or does the temperature of snow cause differences? I am thinking of using some snow.
