Is bubble hash difficult to make?

Was wondering what to do with the leftover trim, once it's here, and was thinking about bubble hash. Problem is, I'm a total beginner newbie and I'm not sure if it's a difficult procedure. My plant isn't a behemoth, but I've got a huge stockpile of furry ass stems-are these useable when making hash?
If anyone can point me in a simple direction or suggest an easier method I'd love to hear it.
