Is buying a metal halide for veg and HPS for flower necessary ?

I am buying a 600watt digital ballast that can run MH or HPS, it comes with a HPS bulb but i was wondering if i would be wasting money buying a MH for veg opposed to just running the HPS through veg and flower. Keep it real, real green :leaf:

it is not necessary but i asked this question before and was told repeatedly that it will increase yields and make for nicer bud structure...although i have no experience first hand

make this really simple for ya..

just simply use a DUAL SPECTRUM bulb.

I think they even make those in CFL format. Not 100% on that though.

Good luck.

peace.

Again, I'm using a dual spectrum HPS and it's working great for veg. Started them off from seedlings on it.

It's not necessary but it's optimal. If you can run two rooms/tents/closets, one of each, MH and HPS you can have a harvest every two months.
