Is Cali Still Flooded?

I never understood, why is there a price difference between indoor and outdoor, and which one is generally more expensive?
people like to think indoor is always better because of the controlled environment and usually the better trim job. a lot of the time they are right and the quality is better but sometimes you see amazing outdoor that is well manicured and people sell it to clubs as indoor because its that good.

Indoor is generally (not always) better and more expensive for several reasons. The main reason is indoor is protected from the elements. You get less mold, mildew, budworms, etc. Indoor is also usually taken care of more.Better nutrients, co2, etc. Also you start seeing bad weather in Cali around harvest time. That can lead to mold, resulting in people having to harvest earlier than they should.

Also, pretty much anyone can grow a decent quantity of outdoor without knowing what they are doing. Building an indoor grow room is quite an investment. You don't just wake up one morning and decide you're going spend 10-50k on an indoor grow room. Anyone who happens to get a hold of some clones can grow outdoor with very little investment.

The only constant advantage indoor really has is climate control (humidity,co2, temp, etc). Other than that it's possible to grow just as good bud outdoor as it is indoor.

So yeah, while indoor isn't always better, it usually is because it's a more controlled environment.

also - really like that picture in your avatar. yummy

Well the markets changing it seems I dont know a lot of the dispenseries gave me a hand. So just wanted to see what everyone thought about that price. But yea they are willing to pay more for indoor although some outdoor bud is a lot stronger. So i guess we will see what happens so far so good! Hows everyone else doin out there these days?

Just went out to check the market the last few days..... a bunch of places wouldnt meet my price of 44 so i told them to f'off. I eventually found a place willing to go 42 which isnt too damn bad. Good prices are still out there as long as you have heat. If you are a grower and have super fire please hold out! Do not give in to these lowball prices like 32/34. If you have years of experience and it shows in your buds you are selling yourself short at 32.

Yah The market for schwag will always be flooded but the fire with still get top dollar because there is always a strong demand to find the best of the best

yep. new vendors are really fucking everyone's shit up. People have no idea what their shit is worth and fall for the buyers bullshit where they tell you your stuff is crap and offer half of what it's worth.

But if you've got top shelf, someone will always want it. Just harder to sell now because so many dispensaries are feasting off of new growers market ignorance.

If it's nice outdoor, 2k is way lowball IMO. Ask for $2800. This time of the year you'll get it from somewhere if you shop it around. A lot of people will go into a club ask for $2400, the buyer will make that face they make when they are pretending to be disappointed/not interested then the vendor immediately lowers the price to $2k, don't do that.

This time of the year ask for $2600-2800 if it's good outdoor. Don't lower your offer based on buyer theatrics. Also don't feel like just because you walked in there with a pack that means you MUST sell it to them, you don't have to. You can always take it somewhere else.

Basically - don't fall for bullshit, if you know what you're shit is worth, get that for it. If you have to take it to 10 clubs before you find someone who will pay you right, then take it to 10 clubs.

word man, i state a price plain and simple there is no negotiations unless its bulk and convenience break downs its good 2 know the market is good at least for a stretch of the year i wanted to keep it all legal as possible so that works just fine for me, no shortage of clubs to hit i dont mind drivin

Nope. The smart thing to do is hold on to it and sell it this time of year when it's worth nearly twice as much.

Every November people get in a panicked rush to sell all their outdoor off when the market is flooded and they usually get ripped off. All you have to do is sit on it until May/June/July and it becomes way easier to sell for a lot more money.

Yep. That's how it's done. If a club wants your shit, they are going to buy it even if they are doing their disinterested unimpressed act. Give them your price and then say nothing while you wait for an answer. If they say no, move on, don't let em rip you off. There is no shortage of clubs in Cali.

The time of year the market is good does seem to get smaller and smaller every year. But that time is now! Get paid!

Exactly! Another thing to consider is that clubs thrive on consistent product. If they carry a strain of yours that is a top seller, that means they depend on your supply. Once there is a consistent demand for your strain they will not be in a position to lowball you.
