is carbon filter in a 2x4 grow tent effective?

basically my bedroom is a decent size but I just want a small grow tent, I am able to vent the air from my tent out the window. if I place a carbon filter and use ona gel blocks could I completely remove the smell of weed if I have only 2 plants at a time? I don't want my room to smell like weed at all. also if I grew a low odor strain such as regular haze from nirvana would that help?

I want to find a way to completely hide the smell so my roommate doesn't know and brag about my grow to people. luckily I installed a key lock on my door

also what if I used 2 carbon filters would that help?

If you get a good carbon filter and adequately rated fan you'll control smell just fine. Won't even need the ona gel. It has to be set up properly too though. I've got a small tent, ventech 4" inline and carbon filter with passive intake and I'm sitting talking to my mother in law in my living room without her noticing any smell :). You should invest in a fan controller too that way you can adjust the fan speed to still allow for adequate extraction without your roommate hearing a turbine engine in your room.

ventech 4" fan and filter combo does not work 100%, maybe 70% if you're lucky. fan is awesome with speed controller, but the filter is not very good.

my problem is my 250w sun system hood with 6 inch fan and carbon filter and a 4 inch intake fan the temps wont let me close up the tent lol no point in a filter lol suggestions hehe

yea heard good and bad things bout led's I wanna stick with the usual light but I must say led growing has come along way and getting better for sure
