Is distilled water organic?

Unless your water has fluorine or other additives. I would say it's "organic". Distilled means that the water was vaporized and condensated and collected. That's as natural, "organic" as you're gonna get. Unless your on the mountain top!

Organic doesnt mean that something is natural, like said above it means that it has a carbon-atom attached to the molecule.

But i understand what your asking, and yes dsitilled water is clean of the contams that tap water has. Ok to use.

well, i work on a farm with organic status (as well as biodynamic status) and we have been using water from the main for years, tho we are converting to use more rainwater... however our produce is still considered organic/biodynamic by all neccessary "official" bodies etc and has been for years. so i guess water is "officially" organic but we all know it needs a bit of tlc to be at it's best :D

alright! someone else who knows the quality of B.D.! I try to tell people...oh well! I've been thinking of watering with algae water. we have iron water here, so no chlorine. as far as this 'organic' talk goes- water is not just H2O! now we can parse words til the cows come home...there's 'living' water, and there's 3 eyed carp water! and everything in between...for most people though; city water will do...'less you live in havasu!

my water quality scale: glacial meltwater, uncontaminated wellwater, spring fed stream water, river water(the further upstream from pollution the better), rainwater(unfortunately not much goes unaffected by air pollution!), lake water(depends on the lake!), distilled water(perhaps not this far down the list as far as pollution goes), reverse osmomsis city water, tap water, sacred water of the ganges or nile, water from places like the grand calumet, or love canal, lake havasu city water, 3 mile island.

as mentioned, all water is inorganic... but distilled water is a great choice in terms of water to use for plants... 100% times better than regular tap water.. their are alternatives to distilled other than tap water, but i prefer distilled... I get it for 39 cents a gallon at a local store...

especially w/ a pH balanced soil, the neutral pH of the distilled water pretty much allows you to not even have to monitor your pH... you can to be safe, but it's not really neccessary... I check the pH of different brands though to ensure they do have a pH around 6.8-7... I found one brand that was bit more expensive that was DISTILLED... and the pH was 8.0.... weird...
