i jus got on and within that day everybody im related to went to school with or beat up or got beat by is on there... and they all found me like they been lookin for me. i spent 5 hours on there and i gotta say myspace was enough but this shit is like 20x worse man. i chat with everyone for five hours and noticed during all that typing my music cut off and i had already smoked my entire blunt, dig that.
 
Shits like crack i tell you, no but for real some people are pretty hardcore addicted haha and yeah everybody i know has it aswell.
 
I got rid of my facebook, because I would get high and spend most my time on it. Now I get high and spend my time surfing the web not much better lol
 
I hate FB, seriously i know a women that updates her status hourly, likes every post and responds to any comment not sure how since she 2 kids under 3??
And looking at pics of my teen cousins dressing like complet whores and acting even worse has turned me right off.
It's ok for 14 yr old girls and single women over 40 but not my thing

Yeah and they fill up your whole page. You gotta hit hide ALL post. LOL. I've had to do that to quite a few peeps.

Pepople are pathetic, what can i say. The inability to go 15 minutes without updating the world on your life or needing to learn about how someone elses life has changed is just depressing. Here was me thinking that religious people are pathetic for needing some sort of safety blanket because they can't cope with life.

Has nyeon read the new pepsi social vending machines? It allows you to buy and recieve redeemable free drink codes via text messages. Last i checked standing next to a vending machine with your friend and offering to buy them a drink is more sociable than sending them a cold text message from your sofa under the impression that's it's a good thing? If you want to be social phone them up and invite them out for tea or to the pub.

I had an account for many years and never used it, i couldn't find a reason to other than to be what i class pathetic and needy.

They and try and hide it and get yopu to suspend your account insteaead, but here's the link for permanently deleting the account :)

Hey tip top -- I'm not sure that even works. I tried "deleting" my account two years ago. I accidentally went to facebook a few months ago and it remembered my email account. And when I entered my password, it logged me in.

I think under to TOS it states that if you decide to delete and then touch anything FB within 2 weeks you are automatically reactivated. Here's the kicker. Almost every site now-a-days has some sort of FB feature on there site, whether its the Like button or the OAuth system (ability to log you in under your FB account) -- they are sneaky little fucks.. I cant stand FB.
 
Dude, i can watch porn and have a facebook share link sat underneath, it's rather amusing. JKust start sharing lots and lots of torture porn across the facebook network :D

As it is, you delete your account but in reality they just deactivate it, and as you say, should you log back in it automatically reactivates it as if nothing ever happened and you'd never have known it wasn't active in the first place. You would also continue to recieve email notifications about updates and events etc. So in the end i used that link which deleted the account permanently, if i try and log in now it tells me that no account exists under that email.

You know what pisses me off more than facebook though, twitter. And you know what pisses me off even more than that, facebook and twitter applications are installed by default on modern mobile phones, and on mine, it is not possibl to remove them, unless you were to root in and start playing around and potentially breaking your phone, you are not allowed to remove them. I removed my details from the facebook app on the phone and yet i still have 500 odd birthdays in the calendar that now have to be removed manually. Fucking pissing me off, looking at picking up an old school phone asap. I'd rather my phone worked for a week and did as it is meant to do, phone, than be able to update friends with my location and thoughts and not have the phone working come the evening.
 
Zuckerberg is the devil. Don't give any of your personal info to that smug bastard, he does naughty things with it and doesnt tell anyone
 
FB is turning into Myspace. Just yesterday my wife and I were talking about this, especially with all the under age kids getting profiles and posting every single fucking thought they have throughout the day. Even though some of them are my nieces or nephews that shit gets old fast. I know I can hide them or whatever but I'm actually considering deleting my account soon.

So no, I'd rather smoke weed all day than log into FB
 
I agreee! The only difference between myspace is tha facebook is apparently "simple and clean" lol, or not. It's a fucking minefield of pintless links likes and pictures. It started off with a true value, organising events etc, now it's just a trend and will soon be gone in place of something else. I mean who actually get's any ben eficial use out of facebook any more? When i started on it i used it because it helped me and was beneficial, now it's quite the opposite. I read a news story the other day that proclaimed that facebook would soon become the worlds largest bank due to the amount of money inested into it's points and game system etc. Can anyone else believe the amount of money that farmville was purchased for?
