Just nuke'em right?

That`s a low blow,....There are many commanders that can get it done without going that road. I wouldn`t even go that road,...Have you seen what those things do ?

Here`s a hint as to how both of the last two Presidents, Bush, Obama, proved they don`t know their ass from elbow,...As it is today, it`s us against them,...by now, 14 years later, you don`t have them against them, because they`ve grown accustomed to us doing for them. Training them didn`t work, it armed the enemy, with our shit.

When we get a President that is willing to be the one that did it to them, you will see progress.

We need to stop playing by their rules. I wouldn`t, Obama and Bush will.

Why don't you just come out and say you support torture and war crimes because your hero Donald Trump does?

It's obvious by your posts

It's funny seeing you people condemn these terrorist acts in one breath, then try to explain how we just need to use the same tactics ISIS uses to beat them in the next, all without even recognizing the blatant irony of it

American terrorists, that's exactly what you are

Someone needs to invite them to a smoke session, replace their AK 47 with blunts, swap the remote triggers for lighters, and pack their trunks full of dank. Send em home listening to Louie Armstrong's Wonderful World.

I can understand your sentiment, but ask yourself what person would want to do any of that with people they justifiably believe murdered their family members, destroyed their homes and raped and pillaged their lands?

I was mostly being sarcastic. One thing I've learned when a person's mind is made up, very little can change it. Also, those who believe god is on their side will never back down.

You just highlighted one of the most profound changes that takes place in a person when they shed the chains of religion. Instead of constantly trying to defend indefensible beliefs, you learn how to accept being wrong without experiencing the sting to your pride. Atheism is like the sharpening block to the sword of genuine knowledge.

I just think it's odd how some religions say "honor thy brother" yet their followers don't. I'm not religious, nor do I believe in a god, I just believe in myself and treat the person next to me how I'd like to be treated. If that's not enough for someone, they can go suck it.

Well paddy,...let`s start with torture on the Battlefield,. guy get`s his eyes burned out by a flash, can`t see, it hurts, and will be tortured till his buddies get him aid and even worse, the enemy hits him again in the chest, suffer he will. Answers, there are none.
Torture for prison,...I held a pretty broad view about that until I had kids. When I realized that I would stop at nothing to get the info I need to get my kid back,....torture was a good thing.

I have a line in the sand you better not cross. Sorry if that offends you.

As a proud atheist I'd warn against being anti-religion.

Sounds contradictory so bear with me.

Religion can be beneficial to an individual on their journey through life, even if it simply a placebo.

There is a massive consciousness movement at the moment and Tesla predicted the next major stage of human evolution will be consciousness.

Recently, under scientific conditions, a Chinese woman has repeatedly germinated a seed that usually takes up to three days to germinate in a matter of hours...using consciousness.

Consciousness, spirituality... call it what you will, it's a fine line between that and religion.

The problem with this world is dickheads.

Some are religious, some are deceitful, some are politicians, some are nationalists and so on.

Want to hate?...hate dickheads, they're the real issue

Is that what you think it does? Offends me?

What your tacit approval of war crimes and torture does is render your condemnation of ISIS and the tactics they use completely moot. You don't get to cry about Islam and complain that they murder innocent people while supporting murdering innocent people.

You are no different and you're certainly not any better than them. I'd actually say you're worse given the history of our country and our ability and means to wage war with different methods. ISIS can't choose to fight any other way because they have no other way to fight, we can because we do, yet people like you still believe using the tactics they use - which is why we call them the bad guys - is what's needed to win, even though every military expert or analyst says they don't work. You don't care if they don't work because that's not why you want to employ them. Success isn't the goal, revenge is and it always has been.

People who support these tactics are trying to use the US military as a means to fulfill their urge for revenge and they're trying to justify it by saying we have to ignore the law that was established after the worst human atrocities in the bloodiest war in the history of the world were committed

Maybe you just don`t understand thresholds.

I`m not saying I would burn people alive in steel cages with cups of fuel,.. or butchering them alive with a knife. Nor am I advocating that we torture POW`s at will or even just to speed things up, no you take things only the way that benefits your argument.

Most understand what I just said,.....you don`t.

I will try to simplify I promise, a couple others here are having the same communication issues with me.
