Is it a female or male?

okay so the plant my friend has is about a month and a couple weeks old. we don't know if its a female or male.

i have close up pictures of the either forming pollen or the forming pistols.

Does anybody have enough experience to where they could tell what sex it is?

looks like a male but im not fer susre
if it start growing hairs then its a female

It is a little to early. I don't believe those are pre flowers, just new leaves.

cant tell if in 12 12 give about 10 days to know for sure.. you see clusters of little balls=male you see white hairs=female its as simple as that

What you're seeing is side nodes growing, not flowers. They will grow on top of fan leaves.

I also got super excited when saw them for the first time. The preflowers will appear between the node and the fan leaf, or on top of the node.

Is it a female or male?
