Is it a huge risk carrying a pound?

I'm from norcal and I'm planning on moving to socal what risk am I taking if I carry a pound with me?

I am a medical marijuana patient and my recommendation states the maximum limit for carry is 8oz.

Ill be purchasing the pound from a grower I just want the pound to last me a while until I can make another trip back to norcal

Please let me know any help will be appreciated thanks!

Just drive the speed limit. If you think about it too much you will be super paranoid. As long as you have your medical paperwork you shouldnt get too much hassle IF they find it. If your driving a uhaul loaded up with all your stuff and you say you are moving I think the leo would have to be having a really bad day to give you a hard time. Just don't over think it, be confident and just cruise. Good luck and stay safe.:weed::weed:bongsmilie

A pound of weed is going to produce quite an odor I'd think.

That's going to be your biggest challenge, keeping that under control.

good advice. Also don't blaze up in your car when carrying a pound.

turkey bags. Right before you leave with a # you should put it in a new turkey bag. Then put that bag in another bag. That'll give you a few hours work of no smell.

What I would do is that you are a MM card holder so hide all but what you are legal to have and drive the speed limit. If you get pulled over just tell the cop you have 8oz's and show him. That will show you are being compliant. He will probably just let you go! That way it will explain the smell.

I think I would split the pound and vacume pack both halves.Then I could put it up in some good hiding places.It`s likely that they would never find both halves.Just a thought.Good luck on your move!!

Cops are never your friend. Never volunteer any info. Especially don't show them any part of your stash. Showing cops your shit, even if it's legal under medical law it is probable cause for a search. If a cop asks you if you have weed you say no. If they ask if they can have a look around you say no. If they start asking you any further questions on the subject you say something like "I'm running late, am I free to go?".

Oh yeah when a cop smells weed in your car it is best to lie to them! Just tell them to go write you a ticket and give them your info, that is great advice! Cops love to be lied to! I have been in a few scrapes in my times and it is better to tell a half truth rather than treat a cop like they are stupid! If the cop feels that you are witholding info or trying to lie to them they go at you 150% but if you show them you weed card and your legal weed/pipe they will send you on your way. They won't search your car if you are upfront. Well at least half way upfront! If you get an attitude with them and are evasive with cops they will call the dogs out then you are really fucked!

ive been pulled over with a lb in a not medi state, the cop didnt smell it and he was a dick i kept my cool and yes sir no sir my way into a ticket. wrap the shit up and they cant smell it you dont need to have it spread through the inside of your car and if you take another dog with you their dog wont do shit and they know it so wont even bother. dont say shit lie your fuckin ass off the cops not your friend why the fuck would you care if you hurt their feelings...
