Is it common to eventually develop a very high tolerance for flower

i was introduced to smoking when hash was very popular back in the 1990s and 2000s. dont know about the us and abroad here in the uk cannabis hash, polm , wacky backy, morrocan balck , double zero etc where pretty much all you could get be it that it was some of the most potent hash you could get and it was relatively cheap and easy to buy.

i smoked hash everyday for about 7 years straight. then it went full 180 and you could no longer get hash. too many drug seizures and flower took over. some blew my head off . i tried thai stick without the opium which was an enjoyable smoke.

i eventually reduced the amount i anoked until i eventually stopped. for about 5 years then started occasionally in work .

started again during covid.

one thing though i have developed a very high tolerance for weed as well as alcohol im not a big drinker or smoker but my tolerance level these days . seems like hash myt actually be the smoke.

would this be common . ive had tolerance breaks of up to a year. still persistent high tolerance

Most people would say "yes", but I strongly believe tolerance to anything varies so wildly per person. But generally speaking, I wouldn't disagree with that sentiment, the more you smoke/the more you tolerate it.

It’s been a long time since I smoked flower that blew my mind, I envy those who do. I’m not saying I don’t get high, I just haven’t been floored by flower for sometime now.

A good indica will put me to sleep but I really gotta eat edibles to get elevated to another level (or dabs).
