Is it ever to late to add more light?

I have 1 autoflower plant under a Mars 300w (i know not the best for flowering) but i always wanted to have 2 300w leds that way the plants with grow better and if i ever choose to grow 2 plants i could. I was thinking og getting another 300w mars light but my plant is currently 35-40 days old would adding more light to an auto flower confuse it would it stunt its growth any for a brief amount of time?

Won't cause any harm at all, quite the opposite really...auto's love being bathed in tons of light! Same as any plant I suppose, but with their limited life span, intense light is even more crucial for them. If you plan on growing long term, I'd strongly urge you to look into CMH/LEC lighting...it will cost more than another mars LED, but it will give off so much more light, and doesn't need a new bulb but for every 20,000 hours. For 300$, you can get a really good CMH, and for less if you go with a less popular brand. In any event, another led panel or a cmh would help for sure!
