best advise if you get a cfl break spray the bulb shards to at least keep it from going air born and the clean real good vent as good as possible and clean with gloves

You still need to clean it up thouroughly, but since it is elemental mercury once it's gone, you are no longer being exposed and the effects stop. Scrape the soil, clean up the mess and you'll be good.

I mentioned the politically correct " it isnt worth your health." But once we grew some stuff and it got moldy on the cure. We all agreed it wasnt t wise to smoke it and wasnt worth the risk....yah we smoked it. 20 years later, I am still ok. Tasted rank and we were a little more paranoid waitng for someone to fall over dead from their next toke. We all survivied.
