Is it normal for weed to smell like hay?

SO i harvested my weed it had about 50% amber 50 cloudy i flushed the plant and i harvested at night and when the buds were growing they smelt amazing and while i was trimming it smelt amazing now it just smells like hay i did not quick dry it it took 9 days for my bud to dry than i put it in cure and its been 1 week and it just still stinks like hay wtf its just terrible just terrible! and on the first day i harvested i smoked a wet bud idc and i got so fucking stoned like i was all numb it was awesome now the weed barley gets me stoned u have to smoke alot now to get stoned what should i do throw the bud out?

ohyeah and it also tasted much much better when i smoked a wet nug

did you cure it that helps with the hay smell you need to let it air dry then cure for at least two three weeks helps alot

iv cured for a week now just read that its normal and you dont get the real smell untill 2 weeks of curing and that you should cure for atleast 1 month

i dont think it was dried to fast took atleast 9 days to dry i did not use any heat or any fan at all just got a box cut out the sides for ventilation than put strings across made two off these than put the bud in them and than into my closet opened the closet up sometimes to refresh the air or whatever lol STRAIN IS NIRVANAS SWISS CHEESE NEVER AGAIN I WILL GROW WITH NIRVANA!
