Is it normal that my leaves are curved like that?

Hey everyone I'm new to this growing thing but I've done countless amount of research about it by reading a growing guide by Ryan Riley and that I need the most important things such as Light, Water , Air, Nutrients, and good growing condition. I know exactly what I need to do I added my nutrients for veg cycle which was 20-20-20 Jack's Classic and every week I add Epsom Salt for Magnesium and Sulfur I also have a 600w light bulb pointing directly at it and every time I see a new leaf coming out it's not curling although it's curving I honestly do not know how to explain it but, ill post some up so you guys can show me what the problem is. Thank you my fellow stoners.

Its curving because it looks stressed, probably induced by PH fluctuations .
Monitor your ph so its around 6.7 or add some lime and feed with ph 6-6.5 water.

Should I get a Ph Scale? and you think I should add less water because I water my plants every other day.

I have many plants do that from seed it usually goes away as it grows but yeah if thats a 600 watt incandescent bulb your just wasting money on electricity as it wont work long before the plant give up.

Well I'm not exactly sure because my mother (Yes she's kind of helping me grow) but she put some soil from her garden but it's not the type that you would get at the store but my question is if the soil is the reason that it's growing really weird should I switch to a better medium because I read that If I switch soils that it can stunt my plants growth.
What kind of soil do you have?ph depends on what kind of medium you have.

I'd say 90% of the problem is the light. It's causing the stretching, and probably the twisted leaves.

Natural daylight is good if you have a southern window.

CFL's are good too, for vegging.
