is it normal?

I really don't want to argue with people on this forum, it is pointless and stupid. I just want to help people and give the best advice I can. The OP said he was substituting aquarium rocks for perlite because he thinks perlite "makes the soil more airy". I tried to educate him that this is not true. Mr Outdoors you then posted that people don't know what they are talking about and give bad advice. Since I was pretty much the only one to reply, I assumed you meant me. And since all I said was perlite does not aquarium rocks, and I thought you meant me in your post, I took offense. I apologize for that, OK?

I don't see the black spots you're referring to, but it does look like it might be over-nute. Lay back for a couple feedings, and let your pots dry out completely between waterings... you'll get the feel for it. I don't see signs of mites, but again, don't see spots.

Also, make sure those twisties aren't too tight.

Don't make sweeping large changes at once. Back off the nutes, loosen off the ties (if too tight), and give it 3-5 days. After 5 days, they'll be worse, or they'll look better, and you can reassess then. Major changes due to rash actions lead to death. These plants are resilient if you don't go crazy. Try to half the problem. Don't make many changes at once.

Subbed.

the ties are just bent over at the top so they arnt to tight and i've been lst'ing over time, let me correct what i said, when i said more air'y i meant that it will drain better and let the roots have more air, i never ment it would magicly put air into the fucking soil, second i've watched hours and hours of growing videos and jorge cervantes used rocks that he dug out off a hole as a perlite type material, thats where i got the information and the idea, also used aquarium rocks have high nitrogen from the fish shit, also i cant find real perlite around here. i'm sorry if i'm not doing things 100% right ffs i'm trying to figure everything out its people like lamopa that make it hard to ask questions and get a positive response and actually get help. i don't need to be on this forum i'm sure over time i could figure it out but to the helpful people on RIU thank you for all the help on all my posts,. ps everyone does things different how many different ways it there to clone? how many different nutes is there out there? my soil is fine i've come to realize i have over nuted them its not the soil that my problem.[h=1][/h]

LOL, we've moved past this. And if you think me schooling you on what perlite is used for is terrible advice and makes it harder on your butt-hurt ass, I don't know what the f*ck to tell you. Good luck with your grow, you'll need it. :peace:

EDIT: Seriously, you f-ing post you are having problems, the first thing I notice is your using aquarium rocks as a substitute for perlite, I tell you this is dead wrong and I'm somehow the as$hole?! It's rare for me to lose my temper but go f*ck yourself, you ignorant ass. Next time don't post asking for advice, f*cking crybaby. Keep using aquarium rocks as a substitute for perlite. Douche.

i'm just using normal topsoil, i'm using mg nutes though 12-4-8 but i deluted it but i have stoped feeding them and perlite is just something to make the soil more air'y and these seem to be working fine and seeing as you dont even really need perlite i dont see the issue
you have several issues. One miracle grow products are not for mmj its for ornamental use. I think you need to get you a ph/ppm meter and buy sum base nutrients from a hydroponic shop and feed them around 600-800 ppm at around 5.8-6.2 ph. 3 part system n-p-k focus on nitrogen its more important for vegging than the phosphate or potash.

even if you flush ur plants you still need to ph the water you use to flush. and throw a lil cal/mg in there like a cap full per gallon of feed that you make

if it wasnt the fact that you over nutted, i'd say you burnt ur plant being too close to the light if it was under a hood

Your plants look just fine. Too much fretting over minor leaf discolorations is not good. As long as the bud turns out ok who gives a fuck that you had some leaves change color while it was growing.

look i'm not butt hurt lol my soil is not the problem i'm NOT growing in MG i'm using MG NUTES and i burnt them but using to much MY BAD,. jesus i know people around here(east coast canada) that go out side dig a bucket full of top soil and plant the seed in that no perlite once its so big its out side to the spot they took the soil from and they have really nice smooth and potent dope my soil is not the issue, my water is always in the 6's. i dont have a ppm gauge nor can i find one walmart and homehardware are really the only garden related things in my town or anywhere neer, also i dont have a hydroponics shop in my town or anywhere neer me and i dont have a credit card to order online so i'm making due with what i have. i never asked for advice on my soil because i've sorted out what works for root growth and thats all i need from my soil, its fine i have tons of root growth everytime i transplanted the roots were pure white and a good ball of them, for those who are subbed i'll update in a few days how just the pure ph'd water is working and i will search harder for a ppm kit and better nutes but i dont think its gonna happen probably just going to end up planting them outside and letting nature do its thing

Amazon bro, gh tri pack or fox farm tri pack does fine. And as for perlite, there's GOT to be some near you I would imagine, even if not its cheap as fuck online, and even THEN it's not neccasary although it is benificial.

Goodluck man, don't let the assholes being you down :p
