is it nutrients that make the smell

These r the top of my plant, i assume from google'ing they are female.

but theres no smell at all, is this because its early on in flowering, or is it because i only use cheap poundland veg feed, and because i only use natural sunlight?

and if its possible anyone knows what strain it might be, although i know theres that many out there.

Thanks, Matt.

congratulation its a girl for sure. like most women the older she gets the smellier she'll be, but since you don't know strain its hard to say.

dont worry about the smell bro i sleep in the room were my plants are and i noticed when i waited to water thier would be a weird smell in the room not like weed just a weird smell but then i watered and thiers the good smell ofweed again... right now im in about 5 days into flower and thier is no smell i believe its just chemical changes that happen and they just dont release that smell u expect but eventually it will stink once buds start forming. lookn good tho

pretty bad for the slug. You could try wrapping copper wire around pot, they don't go over it, also eggshells, broken glass (not keen on this personally) deter if you want an alternative.

it's the genetics of the plant that determine the smell. organic fertilizers allow the flavors to be fully expressed - having said that a chemical fert won't kill yer smell, it arguably makes for a blander product. some plants will come up all sticky and gooey and still have pretty much no smell at the end of the day
