It it gettin very close to harvest (maybe a week) and the plant is not looking so good. it has slowly gotten worse symptoms and everything I have tried has only slowed the downfall.....YET, the buds are looking very nice and I was thinking before everything went to SHIT, that I would cut her down for an early harvest. But, seeing as how the buds are appearing to progress nicely day after day even though the overall plant looks unhappy at best, I was wondering if I should just give her the last watering tonight and then not water her for a week or eight days and let the buds "ripen on the vine" before being cut down.

What do ya'll think?:-|

i've never let one ripen on the vine. someone i know left some on the vine in the fall. it finished flowering then died and turned a golden amber brown. talk about some stony weed. he left about an 1/8 ounce to rot. he quit watering it. i kept telling him i was going to take it. he kept saying he was waiting for it to see what it would do. after weeks, at least 2 with no water, he said it was no good. i took it. he kinda laughed. i got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO high. intense flavors. all the trichromes were gold. it look like old school Acapulco.

how big a plant we talking?

Well, They are still growing bigger and BIGGER! Wow, I'm surprized! There isnt much leafage left but the buds are really growin well.

I just checked the Trich's and there are some (most) clear and some are turning milky......how long would you say I have before they turn amber?

I certainly don't want to divert this thread, but...

Letting it dry and ripen on the vine... Is the smoke really that good? Could this be done by letting an aeroponic reservoir empty on its own, and then allowing the plant to process the nutrients its collected before it's done and bone dry?

Also, what exactly is the detailed visual appeal of the weed? Is it a ditch look-a-like, or does it say creme of the crop? :blsmoke:
