7 week old plant.. would this 'hurt' the young gal?
The first pic is with the fan leaves tucked so the 2 lower nodes can receive light. the second pic is a size comparison, and the third pic is the rear of the plant..
Any input is Greatly appreciated!
thanks all for the input.. im not gonna screw with it for a little bit. this is an unknown strain.. 7weeks old and both of em are hardly 6 inches tall but branchy and leafy... this looks like a good strain to just let it grow without worrying about training it too much.. but the massive leaves do seem to love to cover the lower branches like a protective shell.. i guess i just wont screw with them, unless someone out there has a nifty suggestion
u think? i only have 1 4 foot t5 4 bulb for 6 plants vegging and 2 seedlings. what would you recommend for a 3x4x7 room as a secondary for vegging? I'm definitely purchasing an hps for flowering, but was also thinking about getting a ballast with MH conversion to help blast the veg stage
get a digital ballast.. my LUMATEK can run 600/400/ or 250 watt bulbs of Both MH/HPS bulbs. way to go. kinda pricey but I can use my ballast with less wattage if I ever needed. but i love 600
your 4 foot t5 will be ok and you can tuck leaves
i grew out 3 crops of lowryder under 220w of t5s i tucked leaves right until i harvested and your t5s can be 2 to 3 inches away will no ill effect just get a fan to blow the heat away
no problem, what ever light you get you can still use it for veg and flower, if you get a Hortilux Super HPS, they come in all sizes. THe super has extended spectrum to work in veg and flower I use the 1000's and there great.
awesome.. good to know.. with my growspace, i think im only going to push a 600 watter with maybe some auxiliary cfls.. im still just torn between an hps only ballast or one that can do both.. i really wanna experiment with metal halide for veg as well as flowering with HPS.. was looking into the htgsupply 600w lights.. they are so frickin cheap, they sound too good to be true.. 120.00 for 600w hps?!?
