Is it OK to vent to the attic?

I guess it would have helped a bit to describe my room etc etc.
My room dimensions are 20'x7.5'x 7.5'. These numbers ar pretty close to actual dimensions. This is a room inside of a room. I will be pulling in fresh air from the attic above my grow room. I will be venting above the house into the attic. The intake area and the exhaust area attics are completely sealed from one another.
Venting to a gable or to the soffit is out of the question. My 12" max fan moves too much air to exhaust out of one or the other. The only way I can do this is to fabricate several adaptors to exhaust out the soffit vents but I would have to catch at least Three or Four soffit vents to be affective. (not pratical) I am more than likely just going to monitor my attic temps as well as before and after humidiy. If I see a rise in the humidity I will then build the tunnel to direct the exhaust air where it needs to go.
My room is insulated on ALL the walls with R-13 with 1/2" of sound board over that then 7/16" OSB over that. As far as heat goes I do not think that there will be much if any of a heat signature for the po-po's or the crooks wth FLIR cams.
I wish I could post some photos of my room. Its tits. Maybe when it is all done Ill post a few.
