Molasses is for making cookies, not growing plants. One of the biggest myths going is to contribute 'fattening buds' with molasses use. Its counterproductive in the garden, not productive.....

all this-

....................?

molasses feeds soil. only.

ultra, and all those contain chem that are ONLY approved for use on ornamentals. most of the snake oils are heavy metals. FIRE IT UP! lol

for the last two weeks of flowering, lower the temps, and the lighting. just as in nature, when the plant starts receiving less light(from the ANGLE, not the time) and cooler temps, they go ape shit.
works every time.

You again eh, explain to me how molasses is counterproductive in the garden?
Considering that's all my girls have gotten in terms of "stuff put in the water"
Molasses feeds bacteria and fungus, has micros, and chelates micros. Those alone are pretty damn good things. Not to mention I'm removing the rust off two shovels and a hoe as we speak with a 10:1 molasses bath :P

bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, alfalfa meal, green sand, bat guano, sea bird guano, chicken manure, lama manure, compost, kelp meal, fish emulsion, worm castings... There are a ton of organic amendments that help pot grow without adding toxins.
You just described most of the ingredients in RO products. I dig the shit outta them.

If you wanna know who's full of shit, Wolverine is the biggest bullshitter I know! lol Just kidding, Wolv knows his shit.

Like was said, Molasses is for the bene's. I don't ever use over a TBS of Molasses. The shit is heavy, and will build up. A little goes a long way.

About plumping buds, there is nothing like Budswell that I have found. I run it at week 3 and 5. Once the buds have started to form and are gaining A LITTLE girth, I hit them with it at 12.5-15ml/gal. Buds do in fact swell, and the stink starts to come on hard. Budswell yellow has probably been the biggest improvement I've made to my garden since I started growing. Great shit.

point is im not trying to inhale any chemicals at all whatsoever. I only grow with soil and plain water. Im open to using things like animal shit because that does occur in nature. Im interested in molasses tho, ive seen good results from it but never understood it

I grow organic and am all about it but if you are not trying to inhale any chemicals...then pot really isn't for you. Can't get high without inhaling chemicals.
I see now what your problem is... Your reading comprehension is very poor.
What the op is saying is they don't want to inhale any of the non-natural shit that is being used by the less informed.

GT, your comments are not needed, and only go to show how little you truly are.

I don't know how many people are aware of this, but 'plumping up' in the last couple weeks of growth is part of mj's natural life cycle.
It happens automatically, and will happen whether 'boosters' are added or not.

So many people have perpetuated the myth that the boosters are causing the ladies to swell when you are exactly right, the last two weeks she will always pack on the weight. Happy growing!

my big boy 001.jpgyes and it works good
I use earth juice nutrient. They are made from all natural shit. I say shit because that's a lot of what its literally made from. Also sea kelp, bone meal, worm castings, oat bran and all sorts of good shit. The nutrient mix these natural products create is literally different from bottle to bottle and is not very strong. I really suggest trying this on at least one of your plants so you can see the difference for yourself and decide. They are pretty cheap too, as far as products go, not very gimmicky, just straight forward certified organics.
