I'm around the 3rd week of flower, and the buds are getting big, but the thing is, there are a lot of lower/inside growths that aren't as far along, or nearly as big. I'm growing outside, and it's gonna get cold in a month or two.. I don't want to be waiting around too long, so I guess here's my questions..
1. From everything I've heard, cutting the lower unproductive stuff promotes great growth for the top stuff. I'm outside so I get good airflow, and sunlight most of the time. The plants pretty big and sometimes shades it, but nonetheless gets light. Should I take the lower stuff off outside and let the bigger tops grow?
2. And if I do this, will it help the tops flower faster and get bigger/be done quicker?
3. Will this change overall yield outside or just get you bigger/more potent buds?
I would love to hear some experience on trimming outdoor stuff, and the lower so-called "popcorn buds"
