Is it safe to flush then put half strengh nutes in the last gallon of flush?

Can u have deficiencies and burn within the same plant?

Here's my problem. I recieved 6 clones 5 weeks ago. I put them in shitty top soil with MG perlite for the first four weeks under 1000 hps.(3 gallon containers) The ph was way off (acidic) so last week I transplanted them(tried to knock off half the topsoil) in Jungle Growth with MG perlite which is very good soil(neutral ph/dolomite lime/ slight ferts).(5 gallon buckets) PH all right now. THE PLANTS LOOK GOOD OVERALL but they show signs of burn and deficiencies and lockout in certain leafs mainly in the middle of the plant. Some leafs have brown spots and dry out others are clawed still others have brown tips and edges. I even have yellowing and upward curled leaf sides. These symptoms started before transplant. Some plants show multiple symptoms. I have only feed them once with MG all purpose about 2.5 weeks ago.

My main concern right now is that new growth is starting to show just a hint of yellow/brown tips and slight undercurl. I have not watered since transplant 8 days ago. So I have to do something soon. Sorry for no pictures I will have some next week. But I need to do something before then.

it's the mg soil come on guys there are so many posts on this! mg time release burns plants, any soil with time release nutrients will burn your plants and it will only get worse through flowering! Why do people buy $300 lights but get cheap when it comes soil!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Use 1/3 peat moss,1/3 perlite( both non-miracle grow), 1/3 some kind of compost (I use mushroom), this will have some nutrients but isn't a danger to your plants. Add 1 tablespoon of dolomite lime per gallon of mix to take care of calcium and magnesium. This will give you a good mix that won't burn your plants.

Its not heat stress nice and cool 70 degrees. I did not use mg soil just perlite(all i could find). Not sure if perlite would be hot enough to do all this. I did f up with the topsoil. The new soil is top of the line.

If you have to use mg perlite it will be alright I've used it without any problems but shy away from it whenever possible. Walmart has schultz perlite which has no nutrients...
