Is it time to chop yet? pics

Sorry don't have a microscope or anything.. What I have are pics! This waiting is killing me, I'm tired of smoking crap weed, want some of my own smoke!
Went into 12/12 around May 15th, so it's been flowering for 8 weeks now. Do you think it's time to chop? Should I just feed it water now or stay for another week or two with nutes? Anyone can tell without looking at trichs if it's time yet?

Some of my lower branches have small buds that start to wither, while the top colas are fattening up. Is this a problem, maybe I should do a partial harvest of lower branches? Because the pistils are all brown and leaves are withering...

Forgot to add strain, it's Ice. pH, light, etc it's balanced. Also it's my first grow, hence the insecurity

Ice is an 8 week plant but I'd flush with water for at least a few days before you harvest. It looks like you may have been pushing the fertilizers hard judging from the slight tip burn. Wait 2 or 3 days after straight water then harvest everything. In the future you may consider going the last 7-10 days with just water without nutes; this is called "flushing" and will improve the taste of your pot.

Alright man, thanks a lot, I was thinking about chopping it soon but wanted to make sure, better later harvest than too early. Can't wait to toke my OWN smoke, the idea of it is driving me crazy!

Can't see the trichs in the pictures but it looks like you're about 2 weeks away. Start flushing.

I would flush them for two weeks .. then leave them in the dark for 24 - 48 hrs and then cut them,, Flush them good . the leaves will start turning yellow , Thats a good sign that they are using up all the nutes . You wanna harvest the plat with no nutes in it .. just give it good ph'ed water and get ready the time is near.. good luck nice job ..

I'm under the impression that flushing involves running copious amounts of water thru your soil, like 3X's the amount of water as there is soil in your planter.
Nice lookin' bud . . . lotta white pistils still? I'm sure you could harvest now and get blasted, or you could wait another few weeks and get BLASTED?

Yeah, there's still a lot of white pistils on the main colas (they're huge, like 12 inches long and FAT) and surrounding branches, although some of the buds on lower branches are what seems like, drying up??

The plants have lost most of its old leafage though, they turned yellow and fell off for the most part, and lots new leaves came in surrounding the bud sites.

I think I'll partially harvest some of the lower developed buds for now and start flushing. I'm growing in hydro though, when you're saying 'flush' you mean do not put any nutes in the rez, right?
I remember reading some dude's post, here on RIU, saying that it's wrong to think the plant doesn't need any food for the last 2 weeks when the buds fatten up the most. Anyone know more?

I know nothing of hydro-flushing, finishing, etc. so? Pretty sure someone who does'll stop by and clear things up for you here right quick. Enjoy your beautiful pot!
