It depends, how much height do you have? I try to veg until 75.% stretch will fill as much of the available height as possible, adjusting for distance between the plants and the light, the light and the roof. But certainly you could flip tomorrow, yield will suffer some.(lol)

your best off growing a mother plants and taking side shoots off of them, growing them to two trusses of tomatoes and having a flowering area devoted to them.
they grow best woith long daylight hours, tomatoes do best when lefty to grow and they fruit at the end of the summer, so many small double truss plants, more tomatoes
