They say to top around when the 5th node appears but does that count the tiny leaves underneath? And where should I top it exactly? Thanks fam-o

On a side note how does my setup look ;^)

Im no expert on topping but I've seen others topped out like that size. Yours look developed enough.. got some bush on them already. How many days from germ?

Set up looks fine, but that fan. Looks like its directly blowing on plant.. yes? Oscilating? Wouldn't advise direct on plant

They’re about 2 1/2 weeks old and yes, the fan is oscillating on low

No expert either but it has seemed to me like anywhere from the 3rd to 6th real node works pretty well. Don't count the cotyledon as a node. Then wait 3 more nodes before topping again? Seems to work. I think you top 1/2 way between the nodes. Again, it seems to work. I like slicing with a clean razor blade to make a clean cut.

Depends on how you wanna train. When my plants are that tall they have already been topped 3 times.

Interesting, how old were they when you first topped it? My plants are a little taller than they should be since they were stretching as seedlings
