Is it time yet? (pics)

I'm not sure when my girl will be ready for harvest but looks like she's getting close so thought I'd ask for some opinions.

She's a Big Bud strain grown in Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil with 1/2 strength Fox Farms nutes starting week 4. Full journal in my sig.


Went into flower under 400HPS on 1/6/09 so it's been a couple days over 9 weeks. I'm thinking of starting with plain water next feeding cycle.

I don't have a scope so I can't tell what the trichs look like.

What do you guys think?










I know the HPS shots don't help, so I'll try to snap a few when that sucker is off and see if i can crank up that macro mode!

You might want to tinker with your white balance also. Try the tungsten setting if your camera has it, you'll be amazed at the difference.

from the looks of it tho, i would say just another couple weeks at the most

I would go another week then flush.. I cant see it close enought but you have been flowering for a long time.

is that a soil grow? If so, what nutes you using?

Very very hard to tell from the pics you have posted. It looks not done but I'm not just going to give the standard answer "you got another two weeks". Maybe try taking a few pics without the grow lights on.

I agree with the bone....need better closer pics or a better description of what you can see. what do the hairs look like...white? Brown? Half and half?
Wonderful looking buds though, they look like they are about to pop with all that swelling.

Got up early enough this morning to snap a few closeups of the buds. Hopefully this will be detailed enough for a good guess...

im not thread jackin but i saw the funniest show last nite called eastward bound and down. red from pinapple express is in it and f-ing hillarious.
it is hard to tell when its ready for me. i guess i just dont have enough experiance when it comes to harvesting. it seems like ive grown a hundred frikkin plants. and they get big as shit too, but most become males. some die and by the time i get a few to harvest, theres not much ganja. but im now growing 60 plants, well 13 now flowering and the rest are seedlings.

do these seem too green to be ready? or is the color not any way to tell?

well to the original poster very nive pics but still see white pistol growth but some are dying back and the calyx's are getting swollen id say 2 weeks top but yoo could harvest when you like if you want a head high harvest after flush if you want couchlook wait 2 weeks start flushing for a week and bam but its up to you

Thanks for the advice. i think i'll give it one more good feeding and flush next week. Hopefully chop her down in about 2!

can you plz tell me whats the best was to grow big bud plant. its my first time thx.
