Is it time yet to harvest?

Hi all.

Yes, I have gone around reading previous posts concerning this topic, unfortunately am unable to get my hands on a lense or a microscope for the moment, I only for a 15x optical camera and the below are some pictures i took today. Any clue if it is harvest time yet, since i believe some may be experienced enough to give it a look and have a rather rough estimate? I am in absolutely no hurry to harvest, but i just do not want to miss the harvest time frame.

This is apparently a Sativa, I found some wild seeds in some jungle in my island.

It had 2 Months of Veg and is currently in it 11th week in flowering.

Damn duuuude! That is some landrace jungle shit right there! You need to get pictures of the pistals, the hairs shooting out of the buds. Theyre orange or white. Close ups needed. Sativas can go 16 weeks or longer so who knows without close ups.

Looks like a full on Landrace Sativa. Not very developed considering 11 wks flowering. Try to turn your timer to 8/16 . The increased darkness will cause the plant to flower faster and finish up, which in your case will be a Blessing. Sativas take Forever !!!

Sorry had some trouble uploading all these pictures (shitty connection on the island).

I actually found a dead old one in a jungle, there were some seeds in it, I never really thought of growing it,I shared the smoke and the seeds along as well. So one fine day I thought I’d just grow here, and here it is so far.

As for the timer, currently it is set to 12/12 (because i googled around and it was said to be good for sativa, but i can shift it to 8 hours of light if you guys say it should be done. )

For the training, i had to do it, as you can see, it is CFL, i had to keep it close, but still without it getting burnt, and it was becoming too long for my grow space.

Yeah, didn't get much yield, but i don't really mind, not something planned for sale, am fed up of ppl selling only leaves around here to smoke, i miss some buds.

It looks like there are nearly no crystals on those buds. I'm guessing you didn't give them much if any nutrients? What did you plant in?

Well with that tiny light it looks like it didnt really bulk up much unfortunately. I wouldnt cut the timer back. It looks like its getting close and doing ok for the conditions. If you plan on doing it again id find a high intensity discharge light, (HID) like one for a shop or a garage. Small ones are findable everywhere if you look hard enough, and try another one. It also wouldnt be a bad idea to check online and see if you can order a genetic that will give you thicker buds. You could go with a pack auto seeds and theyd fit nice in that box and youd have smoke forever with one plant per grow. Seriously have to get more light though. :):):)

As for nutes, nope, not much, I had mixed some compost in the soil initially, and re added at some point during the veg cycle. Then Around the 2nd week of flowering, i added a lil bit of Potash.

As for the light, I couldn't find HID, or HPS at all around here, those are mostly industrial uses here, and it is pretty hard to lay my hands on.
I would have loved to try HID, the problem is, I am on a remote island which seems to have strong laws against marijuana.

The price of leafs :p, 3 dried leaves = 8 USD :p yup, saddest thing is :p, it is near the equator! Why, well, the people will just buy out of no choice, Many fears to grow due to law enforcements. In the end, they just grow and sell leaves, it is usually a feat if someone sells you some immature buds :p. Then There are the hashes that comes in once a while if there's someone who managed to smuggle a bit :p. One of the reasons why when i travel around, I always find buds so cheap all around the world, except home!

Man that is some trippy bud there, I would be so stoked to have seeds from a beast like that hahaha, even if its not the most killer potency, it is as unique as it gets! I wouldn't cut the timer to 8 hours, reduced hours of light may make it go faster but it will affect the potency and it doesn't look like you can really spare it on that front. Stick it out, some sativa/haze landraces like that can take 14 weeks of flower

Fuck that. From your description, it sounds like you're on some island nation with limited cultivation laws..

You should move to your more laxed neighbors, especially near the equator! Holy fuck, you could be growing supreme weed for top dollar! Uruguay, Southern Brazil, the caribbean, ... I would suggest looking into moving to a more hospitable country to suit your needs! You could be making a killing!

Call me if you want a roommate!

Good for you L.A !! I too got Fed-Up with the local mid-grade garbage and decided to grow my own. Here's My SSH x J.Herer called "Speed-Haze" from Black Skull Seeds.Hoping she will be done in 3wks. or so ;-)_~ PS- I only used one 67w CFL to grow this ->

Sorry for the late reply guys, been pretty busy these days, I fed her for phosmogen (well very very minimal, like 1 quarter of a teaspoon).

Crystals have started to appear (I'll post some pics) [that's nearl 13 weeks now :s ].

I had a small trouble though, there was a power surge some days ago, I was not around, power was restored, but this did affect the timer, as my usual light period is 5am to 5 pm. after 2 days i came by to check it, It was still lighting at midnight, I was heart broken since that probably stressed the plant and will affect the plant. I spent quite some time on this. I did reset the timer to 5am-5pm again. But I don't know if i should do anything else to make her feel any better after that light stress.

Any clue, is that very very bad right now? There seems to be more crystals, but I don't know if that was before the surge or not, plus the growth seems halted ever since, I hope it hasn't gone to veg.

Padawan, yes I wanted to move at some point, but then, I am kind of lazy, and i will be missing friends and all around here. weirdly, i am near the equator
