It bears repeating:

Stressing a female plant does not change its DNA (genetics).
Man I admire your patience whilst dealing with the sheer amount of herd mentality ignorance taking place here, I mean this isnt even a complex topic, a female plant will produce male flowers as a last resort in order to continue its line, this will happen if the plant has a reason to feel its life cycle may be coming to an end or at risk wether its from old age, or stress of any sort that might give it reason to believe its under threat such as temperature fluctuations, light fluctuations which would be replicating seasonal changes in their natural habitat, or due to actual physical damage or discomfort to the actual plant itself which would be replicating insect attacks or chemical poisoning of some sort, which is exactly what colloidal silver does, it harms the plant enough to trigger it to go into survival of the gene mode.
So if a hard nut thinks that spraying with CS does not stress the plant, I imagine his only logical explanation is that in addition to silver being good to kill vampires it also happens to be a sexual aphrodisiac for plants.

Now having said all that whilst being preettttty baked, here is something that someone who actually does seem to know what he was talking about posted somewhere.
Forcing a normal female from a regular seed to hermie, the offspring would be classed as f1 breeds having a certain percentage of hermie traits in them which will be triggered if stressed they wont just decide oh I gonna be a hermie yippie yeay.
However forcing an already feminized seed to hermie would produce 2nd gen fem seeds with an even higher chance of the hermie trait, which still does not mean they will hermie for no reason but I guess its less forgiving to bad growing conditions and will hermie under less stress than the previous gen.And what we jave now is law of averages, regardless of how the plant was forced to hermie the cjances of hermies are now greater than previously.
I am currently thinking of attempting this on an autoflower that I am really enjoying growing for its relative ease and speed to grow and having seeds with the bud is not really a concern for me because pretty much all the weed I been smoking has been some really bad weed with seeds, twigs leaves and god knows what else,so my standards arent up in the clouds hence why I just want some babies from these autos so I can get a perpetual thing going and have a quick and constant supply of some hermie seeded weed lol.

It sure beats having to fork out 10 bucks a seed each time.

You'll have to skip using an autoflower but just get yourself a feminized plant and then take clones. The Hashberry/Lockdown I'm growing today is a clone going back to about 2007. My current mother is going on two years in the same pot. Sometime soon I'll take 3-4 clones off of her, flower 3 and make the fourth my new mother plant. That's my "house weed". I still grow different strains because I like the variety but I've always got at least one Hashberry/Lockdown flowering in with them.

Hmm that sounds like a plan and definitely something I will be doing once I feel more confident, this is however my first grow and I have zero experience cloning, also the auto I am babbling about is barneys pineapple express auto, I had a sample from a friend and quickly placed it at the top of my favorite list.I am now growing 3 of them and am amazed at how beatiful these plants are and I guess its probably because these are my very first babies hence my obsession with this strain(my green thumb has lost its virginity to these beauties lol), so I do want to always have a couple of these beans around, I will expand my grow ventures to mothers and cloning, but will have to find a strain to love for that. But for now these autos got my undivided attention.
