Is it to late to top?

I was thinking about topping my outdoor crop to maximize yields. But...I vegged for 4 weeks before I setting it outside, and since its been outside its improved substantial. Buds are forming and i can smell the thick smell of dank buds. The question is, is it to late to start topping? Or is that something that needs to be done when the plant is much younger ? Ive topped before just not with 6 week old plants :)

Of course you could top it a bit now, but every clip would be removing a potential bud and any new growth at the clip spot will be very slow, cuz' you're in flower, not veg.
In fact, any growth would probably be slow . . . except maybe the budz.
I don't think I would, unless I really, really needed a buzz.

just give them a drink of the evening,(this will give them plenty of time to have a drink before it gets to hot)they will be fine i get well over 120 deg during the summer and mine do fine(look at my avatar)

do not water during the heat of the day and definately do not spray the plant during the heat of the day to cool them.
water droplets act like a magnifying glass and will just burn the crap out off the plant..

out doors marijuana can handle very high temps.
