is it too cold for my ladies?

Where I am budding right now, I am dealing with limited electricity. My last crop came out great under a 400HPS, but that was summer.

Since I can't heat the room, it gets pretty chilly. I have adjusted the lights to be on during the coldest period, and when the lights are on the area around the girls warms up to about 70 for the ones right under the light and a bit less for the surrounding girls.

During the day, when the lights are off, it can get pretty chilly. Right now, before the lights are set to come on it is about 48 in the room. The coolest I have ever recorded is 47.

During the summer I was watering a couple times a week, and the plants were getting nice and dry between watering. For this crop, it's been 8 days this round and the pots are still not dried out. I have been in bud for about 15 days so far and don't see much going on.

They look healthy and happy, but I am afraid growth will be stunted and flowering will take longer. Am I right? Is the cold too much stress? Am I going to end up with morphs?

yes thats true try not to let them go under 65 when the lights off,if so it will be slower .
Will it like...double my time?

I decided to give it a try instead of not growing during the winter at all, something would be better than nothing even if it takes longer.

if you like you could use a small heater, it would make a difference. however not sure about electricity cost of this...
Well, I just switched from a magnetic ballast to a digital ballast..... it is supposed to save electricity. Maybe I could try a small heater.

What is an efficient heater to run in a small room? Will I just be sucking out my heat with my exhaust fans?

and i forgot, good choice on going to digital,my friends use them and they are way safer to use in my opinion, less heat also.

LOL...safer is always a good thing, less heat right now doesn't help

Thanks for the idea, I will see what I can find.

I grew some girls outdoors during the spring and for some reason it turned out to be the coldest wettest spring in years. The day temp was around 60 -70 but night temp fell to below 50. They ended up not growing past 7”. Ended up as a very bad yield. Try to keep those temps up even if you have to let them sleep next to you in bed, lol.
