You should avoid a 10 degree drop as it does stress the plants. Which lead them to stretching. I dont believe its a noticeable difference unless your looking for it so im sure ul be fine :)

my boy was having the same problem over at his place ...

Runnin a 400w hps at night, he said temps go from 58-60 at lights off up to 72-75 when the lights are on ...
humidity ranges from 40% - 60% ...

He did get a heater fan but when he 1st used it, it ended up burning a couple of leaves. Now he puts the fan heater on the upper shelf ...
Just sayin to be careful where you place the heater so it dont burn anything ...

With that fan heater runnin during lights off sitting on the upper shelf temps still stay between 58-60. But then the temps up higher by the shelf are 72-75 ...

This is all in a 3x3 closet ...
What do u think about his temps ...

I've heard about the colder temps causing them to strectc a bit more ...

I have the same issue. One of my strains freaked out...two different pheno's of Matnuska Thunderfuck. One morphed, the other one went purple. Have grown this strain two times before without a hint of purple. It also hurt my yield.

I would like to see you get it up by 5 degrees say 65. The issue with getting down to 60 is that the plant slows down........so when it's lights on it's like being hung over, takes a bit to get over it. Now do that for 60 days your not going to be looking your best are we. IMHO

hold ur hand there. if it starts to burn u then its too hot ...

Nickman is right, make sure the back of your hand is to the light, it's more sensitive than the other side. If it gets warm move your light till you can hold your hand there.

some strains handle the cold better than others, just like some handle higher than ideal temps better than others.60 is not too bad, your plants should be fine.

My grow is in the basement which stays around 60-63 when lights are off. When on they go to 72 so it's no big deal.

Too much food.
I have grown this strain before with no problems. I cut food when I saw her start to curl...there was no stopping her. My night temps dropped down as low as 47 at one time, 54 being the average low for about two weeks during a cold spell with day temps only getting to abut 70. Two phono's of the MTF...one morphed and like I am showing, one turned curly and purple.
