Is it too early to start flowering?

check out the 12/12 from seed thread, and no its never too early to flower, providing you give it the necessary amount of light to give you any useful flowers as many have said b4...

in this case though you might want to get your plant back up to par first otherwise you will only have about 3-5 grams if you flower from now, when its all said and done if you start to flower now since it is so stunted...

in general the longer you veg the better chance (genetically providing of course) that your plant will produce more yield...

Lol yeah no I was just screwin around when I said that, but yeah urine is very high in urea nitrogen, but the problem is its very acidic and there is alot of other stuff in it besides nitrogen so I wouldn't recommend pissing on ur plants, and idk how much hair you would need to use but I do know that human hair is 14-17% nitrogen. One thing I'm not sure about is there are different types of nitrogen like urea nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, and ammonical nitrogen. Not to sure what the difference is but I know that urea nitrogen is the nitrogen that is found in urine and u find it in most cheaper ferts like miracle grow, where stuff like fox farms has 0 urea nitrogen.

Hey don't laugh but I used to pee on my outdoor plants all the time. Three plants with half a stream three plants with the other half.
I never had a nutrition burn but then again rain may have watered it down.

wasnt flaming you but u have 1000's of growers here as a resource and many sucessful grows here u could read to learn how to do it right
and forget the hair and urine just go buy some nutes even if its just miracle grow
and u need more then one light and not a 6500k
and just by u asking if thats ok to use shows u really need to read more

we cant grow it for u but can help u learn to grow it but dont just plant some seeds then ask WTF do i do now
you should already know that before u plant seeds if u expect to be a good grower
but im willing to help but telling u you are doing it all wrong is not flaming its just the honest brutal truth

do 60% soil, 30% perlite n 10% sand, in big pots and you will get something

dont over water they like to be dryish, they will tell you when they need water the leaves droop down, your going to need nutrients, one for veg and one for flowering, PK boost helps also, you need to do alot of reading up, keep it up and you will get better n better every time get some more vegging the one you have there has stretched alot and cant support itself as it is its going to need alot of TLC before the extra weight of buds

Thanks for all the feedback! Here's some pics of how its doing at the moment(moved back into my PC case). I will hopefully be picking up a 400w HPS system and some nutes this week. Should I be looking at any specific brand for the nutes?

You choice on the nutes most here use Fox Farms

get a new light asap or more cfls, you can use nearly any nutes but if you want good results go for the dear stuff , for veg you need a high nitrogen (N) and for flower its more of PK

your soil looks quite wet let it dry out a little more till you feed it again, it will tell you when it needs water/feed

I added another CFL, but while I was out I saw these HPS bulbs. http://www.homedepot.ca/product/70w-high-pressure-sodium-clear-medium/967882 Would two be a more suitable semi-permanent setup? And I actually took those pics right after I watered, that may be why it seems so wet.

I think it would be easier to get a digital ballast that comes with both MH and HPS bulbs so you have both...if you have more seeds toss this one and then get actual lights and nutes and stuff and then do it...I started with nothing and started collecting it as I went and learned what to get, and was able to save money to get the things, anyway...the plants are so much better when you have the right things...so if you are able to just skip a lot more nonsense then just get the MH/HPS combo, just read and see what people have to say about nutes, and you aren't stuck with whatever line you try...if you just hate it or whatever, but they are basically all pretty similar...all of them claim to be the cutting edge and the best, and the most popular, Scientifically proven to increase yields, etc...so you just have to read and pick....just spend a few minutes a day on here reading what other people are using and doing...check out some grows..when you get to one that is going well and you want to emulate it then do...that is how I started putting more and more stuff together...well this guys plants look great and he uses this, so i will try it, or whatever ya know...

Not enough lights its not going to do anything, it will just stay like that almost indefintitly untill it dies..do not buy that light you linked just get some proper light made for growing.
