Is it worth it for me to get a co2 system when my room has constant intake % exhaust?

I am considering introducing co2 to my room , however i have my intake and exhaust on constantly to provide fresh clean air and to maintain temps....

If i introduced co2 to my current set up would it be pointless, like wouldnt the co2 enriched air simple be exhausted out of the room, or will it linger in the room long enough for it to be worth my investment in a co2 system?

Youd be wasting co2. Co2 is for closed rooms or rooms with the exhaust on a timer.

what will your temp go up to with no intake or exhaust? you could put your exhuast on a timer to help controll temps, but you need to try and keep the co2 in there as long as possible.

well the problem is my exhaust is through my ac's and my ac's need to be on all the time when the lights are on..... i also feed the room fresh air with an inline fan acting as my intake.....

any suggestions to my dilemna... should i even bother with the co2 system ....

doesn't sound like it with your current setup. what kind of AC is it? seperate your exhaust from your AC so the ac's only purpose is to cool the room. set the exhaust on a timer.

your room doesn't need oxygen, it needs co2, are you using enough light to benefit additional co2?

like the first post says, you'd be wasting co2. You need to keep the co2 around, on a regulator to tell it when to expell co2 into the room and timers for your exhaust/intake to shut off for atleast an hour when it does go off. You are better off keeping the fresh exchange of oxygen and saving your money.

I got 2 cheap walmart (3500 btu i think) danby ac's , each 1 has an exhaust .. i dont think i can seperate the exhaust as it pumps out the hot air.... i would love to make these ac's central ac's just scrubbing the air but i dont think the models i have are capable of that....

you would need to provide more info on your set up,,from your last post it sounds as if you are recirculation the air from the ac, do you have another exhaust?

I think you might be confusing the hot air exhaust from the ac as room exhaust they are different

umm no that is my only exhaust i understand they are 2 differnt things but in reality the are both doing the same thing.... shooting hot air out of the room...

THe inline fan ( intake) just brings in fresh colder air and prevents from a vacuum affect happening if i just had the ac's on.... i think the real issue here is that no matter what i do i will always need the ac's on as it wwould be too hot for the plants if they wwerent on, however in doing so there i will always be exhaust air, and if i was to get a co2 system in there i would in theory be exhaustujing the co2 enriched airf.......

So i either get new central ac's that only scrub and then get the co2 system or i work with what i got and forget about the co2 idea....

You don't have room exhaust with a window unit ac. In this case you need CO2 because your not getting fresh CO2. Window units recirculate the air in the room the hot exhaust from the ac is just that, it's from the ac working not the room exhaust. Look at the rear side of the ac unit has a buch of vents on the sides, that is outside air blowing over the condersor coils and hot exhaust from outside the room.

it is not a window ac, its one of that that stands on wheels.. but maybe its the same for these types of acs... however from past experaince i do remember the ac untis that i have exhuasting stinky air... so i assume its from the room and therefore would exhuast the co2 enriched air as welll....
