I'm using a 400 watt hps over one large plant....I have six 2 foot T5 flouros that I'm not using at the moment....Would it be worth the trouble to supplement Light to the lower growth using the T5's....Will it increase my yield....My local hydro guy sells 2700k bulbs for $10 each....Is it worth buying more red lighting...Or would using the 6500k bulbs I already have produce good results...(remember I am already using a 400 hps)....Thanks in advance for any input:)

the more light the better.

set up the t5's so that they give more light to the lower branches as you suggested.

Yes, will increase your out put.

Only potential problem is possible high temps, which will have to be dealt with.
