Is LED bad for your eyes?

Is LED light bad for your eyes, lol woops.

Hey guys I was just wondering if the LED light was bad for your eyes, of course not staring directly at the light but me just working in my garden, I just got the light today, never used LEDs before and when I hooked it up I realized the light is a little irritating, is that normal?

Yeah, it takes a while to get used to. Just don't stare at it for too long and you should be ok. some shades would help protect your eyes if you're in there for a while and want to take precaution.

glasses are helpful. when i bought my stealthgrow panel, I also picked up a pair of their eyeshades and they seem to help a lot. my wife gets headaches without em, i'm fine either way.

I too get head aches if I don't wear my terminator wrap around sunglasses in my room. 1010w of any light would require sunglasses though. Be safe man you only get two eyes
