The subject of your post ask sif you can use molassess as a flowering nute. It is an amendment, so use it with your flowering nutrient.

You can use the molasses every time you water untill your final flushing starts,
it works perfectly fine in flush too. thats when its the most benificial IMO.

and for the record im starting to believe the "no-flush" guys. ive gone from a 3wk flush to a 2wk to a 1wk and the only difference in my bud is the size.

The purpose of molasses is to activate the beneficial bacteria within the "soil". If you are running a soiless sytsem, the beneficial bacteria are not present, as your plants are getting their nutrition from the water, not the soil. Hydro systems are constantly replacing the water, as a result, the beneficial bacterial are never present in a substantial amount due to the constant change of water. Unless of course, you are supplementing your water with these bacteria.

im not going to get into the timeless arguement of what mollasses does because it apears we dissagree.

but most hydro ferts have bennificials in them already so wether or not they know it, most hydro people have bennificials in thier medium.

I am jsut saying, I know of countless stories of people using it in their hydro system ending up with sluge for roots, and pumps that clog....
Cheers tho, I just would never recommend it to a hydro grower...

so can you use it for every water including when you are adding nutes? Do you add the molasses in first then your Big Grow or what not? I have heard great things about it in soil grows and want to try it when mine are ready to flower. Thanks

i use canna flores and add some more molasses (unsulfured) to it every time i water feed, and i got some fat ass buds i agree everybody is right though, you can give it to the plant anyway you want just dont want to give it to much like anything. the main point is that the plant gets the glucose from molasses that helps it pump up its buds. every single branch has to be proped up and they are just past the halfway marker in flowering. thats how much it adds to the weight of the buds. you can even foliar feed if you would like.

thats because molasses is very thick and needs to be disolved before being placed into a hydro system. u can use it in hydros but i agree with you not to use it much with hydros bc of the hassle it is to dissolve and then place it -- ur better off using a bloom enhancer with lots of sugars in it that is already dissolved.
