It's mainly used in the flowering stage as 1 tbsp. blackstrap unsulfured molasses to (use a smaller cup of hot water to dissolve it in and then add it to the larger gallon) 1 gallon of water. I use it every third feeding during the flowering period currently and find good results that way. You will notice the increased crytallization almost the next day. I don't mix it in with nutes I do it seperately in a seperate feeding.
If you were to use if for veg it would be just as a supplement once if you hada deficiancy of some type. It's not common to use it in veg.

No, you have to buy it in Liquid for and the Best is Blackstrap Unsulfured which contains lots of minerals and the appropriate concentrations of phosphorus. You can get it at a super Market. If you have "stop and shop" near you they have it in the Organic foods section.

It's main use is during flowering to provide needed sugars.

It is also used in organic gardening to feed the beneficial bacteria, that's the only use of I know during vegetation.

Just be wary of animals. I can't say for sure what species are attracted to molasses, but it seems like there would be some.
