Hi all, I have been wondering how lowryder2 or other cannabis varieties would do in my climate. first and last frost is about mid to late may, and late sept to beginning of october. So we have about 4 months of growing season. But mean temperature in these months is about 10-12°c, its a mild summer. and i am living at 64° latitude(north) so we have sun almost 24/7. So my question is will my plants survive and make good bud? mabey i will make a little tent to gain higher temperature.

I am no pro but In my experience you can make it happen. I live in an area that also has a short growing season and I do grow my plants outdoors. Of course you want to start your plants indoors and transplant them when all danger of frost has passed.

There are some strains like Swiss Miss that thrive in cooler climates and where the grow season is short.

You can also buy or make small pop-up greenhouses to raise the temperature and humidity for suitable growing conditions. And if you have 24/7 light then just throw a black tarp over the top to simulate night time.

You can easily make it happen, you just might have to work a little harder than most to get the final product you are looking for :)

thats what I wanted to hear, thanks. May I ask what latitude you grow at? and it would also be great to hear from a few who grow way up north.
