well me not doing my research i went with soft white which only produce 2700 for each one i also have a 150 hps bulb but i need a ballast and this is my 3 grow attempt first one was a fail (root rot) and the 2nd was at my parents when i lived there and they didnt appreciate that now that i have my own house im going to try again
Okay well 2700 isn't bad at all actually, that's what you need for flower. Throw in a 6500k and then you can do a straight 12/12 from seed grow like I'm doing OR just go out and get some 6500 and veg it or whatever you planned on doing. I just watched the video also the box is nice you know pretty much know everything that needs to be fixed but i recommend mounting that strip horizontally instead of vertically because I've read that the bulbs let more light off from their sides and horizontally they'll receive more light. Looks good though but remove the led from that fan also it'll mess up your dark period. NO light can get I've read stories about TV light leaking into boxes and causing hermies. Oh and Y splitters for the socket adapters so you can get more lights.
sweet and how would i disconnect the leds also how would i set up my lights lets say if i go get a 4 pack of 23w>100w CFL's but day time not soft white and i try to mount them would i have to criss cross my light setup because ive heard if u have lights uneven like more light on one side of the plant will cause that one side to grow faster then the others? hps light to, ive got one but with no ballast any one no how to make one because i could run that with my cfls and thatll produce up to 23000 lumens but need to make one or find one for cheap as im on a budget from the move sorry if that didnt make sense little stoned right now happy tokin and thanks to people that are helping im liking this site way better then crap grasscity!!!

Yup that's the plan I'm thinking since the front isn't sealed really well from light leaks so I'm goin to get emergency blankets and im going to put them on the walls and then get card and cut it where it'll fit snuggly in the box and then ill put a emergency blanket on it and the cut out a little area where I can get my hand in between where re cardboard meets the walls to take it in and out so it'll be a box with a door and when you open the door there will be card board and a little bit of light leak where the grab hole is cut a little ghetto but the front door is messed up where you can't seal the light unless u take it all apart sorry if that didn't make sense pretty baked right now haha
