is my plant going to die!?!?!?

i just transplanted, my plant
after, i noticed, the bottom half of the soil, was left in the old pot!!!
basically, half of the roots, were ripped off...
will my plant survive??? or will she die!?!

please, someone tell me, straight up!!!!

Give her a shock treatment ASAP like miracle grow first start shock treatment. Something! If you do quick enough she will recover! Go to Walmart or anywhere with a garden center. unless your hydro stiore is stil open? good Luck!

i can't go anywhere, my car is in the shop
it's winter, my car has start up problems, so it's getting a new starter

i'm taking that, as, she will die

i hope she does make it...
i know, i can plant another...
but, shit, i really felt for this one...
she went from, slow growth, to fast growth...
from being, thought to be as 'male' & turned out 'female'...
i really did, feel for this particular plant...
i don't care, about the sweet basil plant, or chives, i'm growing...

i just hope, she makes it...

i hope she recovers, oh and sweet basil is good on like everything and chives can be used on so much shit. i love both plants. i am actually growing them as well. they never seem to do as well as the weeds i have growing tho.

yeah, sweet basil & chives are killer!
i got parsley growing as well, seems to be doing fine
way more different, then growing marijuana

Why did you transplant if I may ask? It doesn't even look like there is alot of roots development even in that pot. You will see some roots coming out of the drain hole. This is nomal. Roots grow down. Just seems like a waste of a tranplant sence there really isn't any roots in that pot yet. I bet you could have went several more weeks in it. I see 2 roots in that one picture. Usually by the time you need to transplnt there's so many it actually holds the dirt together cause there is a root ball. I hope it makes it. That would kinda suck to loose it. Good luck to you. Hope it pulls through for ya.

^ well, after i posted
i looked back at the old pot
& dug it up, there were A LOT of roots, filled in there
like, while scraping the soil, i could hear crunches
those pictures were only the tops & bottom
i dug it up, 30 minutes after i posted those 2 pictures

the way most plants work is that they have a tap root and many sub-roots..as long as the tap root is still in tact your plant should be able to recover. did you start it from a clone? if u still have any root stimulants you should apply em. maybe itll work, maybe not...,who knows. good luck man, id hate to see your plant meet tradgedy after you were such a help to me. ganja be with you

i'm very sure, the tap root, is still in tact
mainly because, the top half of the pot, got transplanted
while, the bottom, was ripped & separated
i know, i should have been more careful...
but, the thing is, when i scraped the sides & bumped the bottom
the top soil got loose & the plant was a little unbalanced
& when i pulled a bit, i felt a little crunch/rip sound
but, i thought, it was the soil, dettaching itself from the bottom of the pot...

i can't take back, what happened
all i can do, is hope that she pulls through & makes it...

Dont worry about it, you probably transplanted when your soil was too wet. Sometimes when I transplant I will cut away up to 3/4 of the extended root mass, just keeping a good solid core of strong roots.

Your plants will be fine, make sure you start using nutes second water after transplanting or your plant will produce single leafs while sending all the nutes and energy to massive new root growth.
