Is my soil good to grow?

I've found a good location with ample light, water source and its safe enough to start my first grow. I'm trying the K.I.S.S method i'm not expecting crazy buds or huge yields but at least get a decent harvest. My question is about the soil if it looks good i'm kind of lost on what good soil is supposed to look like so I took pictures from two plots i'm planning to start let me know what you guys/ladies think or which plot would be best for theplants!

third pic soil looks the best. But really spend the 5$ and get some potting soil it is gonna be worth it, are you going to use fertilizer?

The first pic looks a bit rocky, and the piece of broken glass means people have been there, which means people are likely to be back and find your plants.

The second place looks better and the existing plants shows the soil can sustain life. If you have enough seeds, you should plant in both plots. Growing away from home lowers your odds of making it to harvest big time. Old Pork has some great tips on Guerilla Growing if you check out his grow journal.
