Is my weed supposed to be purple

Ok... So I may get killed for this but I really don't know...So the hijack continues to purple @ 58 days. It really didn't start purpling until I started my 2 wk flush; and I haven't seen any other hijacks that have purpled. I would assume that the bud is turning purple bc the sugar leaves have a deficiency??? Idk... Is this normal? Something need to be done? Pics are of same plant different exposure.

Is this happening to every plant you raise? I know I saw ur other plant turn purple at the tip.

Maybe it's the conditions causing it? Low temps?
Looks pretty tho.

Some strains will turn purple naturally when the temps get a little low in flower. I would cut back on the feeding though, those plants look way over fed

Swim,
This is my first plant. Conditions are very controlled. Temp 76-78* 24/7. RH ~40%. Ppms at 190 ph 6.6. It started w the tip of the main cola and is pretty much everywhere now.

The grow has actually been pretty good w/o any big issues. she's received only 1/4 nutes for about 2.5 weeks. Other than that I've just given her calmag and phd water (in FFOF)I haven't fed nutes in 3 wks and have just been flushing for 10 days. I give 3/4 gallon every other day. The 5 gallon pot can be lifted w 3 fingers at that point. What makes you say that she's overfed.

The leaves are super yellow. Your suppose to get a little yellowing in flower but that is a little much. Theres definitely something going on there. The bud size looks good so what ever it is, its not affecting growth too much but they're definitely not suppose to be that yellow imo.

Could be not enough food as well, but when I flush my plants they do not get yellow like that. It may not be detrimental but imo its definitely affecting the final quality.
Hard to tell with the hps lighting but this is the picture from the day I pulled them down and they are not yellow like that.

This picture is a bad comparison because the hps makes everything look more yellow but if you zoom in on the shaded leaves in the middle of the plant you can see the green

Do you closely monitor your feeding and ppms?

I would feel more confident in not flushing if I monitored my ppms closely the whole grow, which I plan to do next time.

I kinda chickened out and flushed because when I did start to check ppms in flower, they were 1900-2000.

Yea I have a bluelab gaurdian and check ppms and ph every feed. I pretty much know exactly how much food will be what ppms now. Sometimes at peak feeding times i might hit 1900 max, but only for 1 week and only if they are feeding heavy.

Your plants look nuts lol! That's a sweet op. Your girls are lucky to be in such care.

If you let it go too far the plant can start cannibalizing and your terpene profile will be hindered.

Plants go through growth spurts that change a little depending on strains. You want to start flushing right as your last real push finishes.

If you start flushing too soon while the metabolism os bump in you will yellow out pretty quick.

Keep a journal and start to flush 4-5 days later next time :)

The beauty of this plant... they all prefer subtle differences and take time to get theor growth cycles figured out to the T
