Is ok to add ambient light to room?

To be more specific on my question. I have growing LED lights that are sufficient for my plants so I don't need anymore grow lights. So my question is, is what harm would there be in adding a small desk lamp in the corner of my room with a normal household fluorescent bulb, and have it on the same light timer as my grow lights So it shuts on and off at the same time my grow lights do. My goal is to be able to view better through my Wi-Fi security camera. Whenever I view the live feed it's just so purple and blue and red and hard to see. So will adding a normal bulb flood the Room with the wrong spectrum of light throwing off the efficiency of my normal LED grow lights?

It won't hurt a thing. Although it might not do much for the purple you see through the security camera.

That was another one of my concerns is exactly how much natural type lights whould I have to add to decently improve my viewing. Guess I'll just test it out tonight when I get home.

I do wear sunglasses when I go in my Room two 900W led's can really strain your eyes. I've been looking at getting a pair of horticultural glasses though.
