Is outdoor... Less then indoor? And why?

thats besides the point i was trying to make. look there is a lot of super dank outdoor bud out there, i know that. just not as often as super dank indoor. and we get a ton of outdoor in sac, alot of it comes from "way nor cal" and alot is grown here. in a month sac will be flooded with more outdoor than anyone could ever need, and the majority of it is average at best. whereas when it comes to indoor id say its more like 75% of what i see is fire and only of a quarter of it aint all that great. and do u know what we call that 25% of indoor? some outdoor grade/lookin shit...

Frankly I would slip it to Maryanne long before Ginger. Ginger is just to maintenance intensive and Maryanne would be more free spirited and open to anything. Ginger would just lay there but Maryanne would be screaming and doing her part or maybe inviting one of her friends over for the party.

The only thing indoor has over outdoors is bag appeal and I would rather spend half as much money for twice as much weed if I was buying. There are lots of opinions here but there will never be a consensus. As far as Cali weed being better than Bama weed now thats just plain bullshit. It depends on what strain you plant where and what kind of attention you give it. Oh yeah... I'm not wearing any underwear.

I definitely can 100% agree with this statement.

.. I trade several indoor growers my "shitty outdoor" for their "uber awesome indoor" all the time .. why ? because there are many ...many ... many stupid people out there that think "pretty" weed is better weed.
I straight up ask people when they hit me up .. do you want pretty weed ? or do you want tasty / potent weed ? .. no joke. oh and the indoor growers I deal with have been growing for 5 - 10 years each.

yep pretty much except the indoor bud I've tried does taste pretty damn good but I prefer the taste of my outdoor. the potency is just not as good or not the same it just doesn't feel right compared to the comfortably dank outdoor stone I'm used to. its somethin ya gotta spend some time with a good outdoor grower smoke their weed and see for yourself... I've smoked plenty of indoor bud to know I'm not into the high of it... not saying there isn't indoor bud out there that would surprise me, just like you guys can't say there isn't outdoor bud out there that wouldn't surprise the fuck outta you and make you think all other bud you had tried before indoor is inferior because lets face it where did this plant come from? indoors under some lamp with some grower? or in the sun in the natural environment?


I know some people would read what I say and just think I'm trippin or biased, but sometimes the NATURAL environment, truly is OPTIMUM. indoor growing, was only started, NOT because it was a more effective or cleaner method, but because of PROHIBITION. don't forget that.

Greenhouse is hands down the best.

Well if you look at it this way..

Indoor growing is more cost efficient. Reason being outdoor grows generally take much longer than indoor. Therefore, even though an outdoor plant will produce a higher yield, indoor growers will have more bud at the end of the day

Start up costs are inevitable, and indoor is much more expensive than outdoor in regards to that.

I don't know how you figured out that but that pretty much makes 0 sense. everything about indoor growing costs more than outdoor, how is that more cost efficient? only commercial outdoor growers who sell all their bud right after harvest are left with less bud than an indoor grower, I usually am left iwth over 8 lbs to last me ALL year. I'm still smoking on last years harvest. sorry bud I just think you speak from a misinformed standpoint.

Ok my 2 cents: I think that indoor can produce a slightly better quality grade of marijuana than outdoor. If you really know what you are doing and invest a lot of time and money (indoor or outdoor), you will get top shelf quality weed either way. But nevertheless, I prefer a Hawaaiin rainforest grown plant (like Maui wowie) over any indoor grow setup magazine centerfold in the world. Indoor will produce some kickass weed, but I just like outdoor better. More natural. Sun soaked, wind blown rain saturated weed. Mmmm...

indoor gets 12 solid hours of direct light/day.
There are no deer, and there SHOULDNT be pests indoors.

this thread is riding on the edge of being closed. because it is starting to become another pointless indoor vs outdoor thread instead of educating about quality differences in an open minded way.


lets try to keep the discussion open folks, lets try to avoid these statements of finality and try to say things in a way that is up for open discussion.

i just have one question... why does everybody try to pass off their outdoor as indoor and not the other way around?

Because most people are retards and most people haven't had good outdoor. They then assume that all outdoor is shitty. I dont have to try to pass off anything I just let people make their own assumptions. also have you not read over and over in this thread that indoor weed is prettier ?

and what makes it prettier? more crystals right... and more crystals means more thc. yes i know that some strains have more thc per crystal therefore even tho it may not look good it still can be just as potent as bud that is covered in crystals. but in general more crystals means more thc and u generally get more crystals indoors due to the fact that mother nature (i.e. wind, rain, animals, etc.) isnt knockin a bunch off indoors.

why dnt we start putting pics up of finished plants outdoor and indoor, dried and cured out and in. im sure some people even have done the same strain out and in. so lets stop the argueing thread and make this and admiring thread, of beautiful out and in nugs. we've heard outdoors fluffy, and outdoors not as frosty, well lets put pics up. as they say a pics worth a 100 words

for this i say, trichs are like the hairs on my head, some fall off day by day, only to be replaced by new hairs, and all the while im losing hairs i never seem to get bald. its gonna take a significant amount of abuse on a plant to significantly decrease potency. wind, rain and other factors alike will hardly effect potency, especially not to a noticable degree

From my understanding its pretty hard to get 20%+ thc levels outdoors? maybe im wrong but usually indoor=stronger outdoor=more.

but outdoor sure can be dank as fuck
