i think the writer of the article wanted to show his popularity but threw a little low blow weak blow on ron paul, ron paul doesnt know why young people like his message he is old as hell hes going by what people tell him im guessing his message reaches to far more than just young people,i think young people like him because his message speaks out agaisnt the man. the same way rage agaisnt the machine or punk bands talk about its always been around but music i think is what people know and hearing his message just sparks ideas, it all makes sence, i just think young people care more, and its not very complex. we are getting screwd and this old man is standing up for people at a people level thats why i like him!

Ron Paul will have my vote this year but, as part of the younger generation, that's pretty disappointing to hear that he thinks the reason his largest demographic group supports his financial policy is because we're not smart enough to understand the complexities of other candidates policies.

i dont think when he said it he meant it like that they show one sentence of what he said, i think he knows the infulence of the media and what it has done to this generation.
i think he know that young people have caught on the somthing so obvious because its in our history books, young people are the ones fresh out of school, it only takes the the individual who asks questions about things and whats to know things. he knows its not hard to find a young person whos not familiar with the term fuck the man! cause shit is not right. and thinking young im thinking like 30s and younger

That is an awesome message man and I totally agree with you. I do think he just doesn't really know exactly why he gets all the young peoples attention. I think its because of his word of mouth on the internet, especially youtube. I mean what president sits down and makes up some yout ube videos and answers his fellow american's answers? He is simply amazing... :weed:

Independent, he has to do an independent run, only chance, and a very slim one at that. The best he can hope for in the repuke race is Vice Pres and neither of the frontrunners would pick him.

Personally, I think young americans are just fed up with they way our government works and Ron Paul's stance on many issues, is exactly what our generation is looking for.

No man is all good and everyman will have things you like about them and things you hate.
You just have to weigh up the pros and cons of each person and see which lizard you like the best:mrgreen::peace::joint:

There's some very wise words in the posts you young people have made in this thread. It really gives an old fart like me hope for the future. Do you all realize that by supporting Ron Paul, you are completely going against the liberal establishment, like the public schools, our universities, the main stream media and all other sources of establishment lies that have come from both left and right and foisted off on you as the truth? Good for you! :)

I have to disagree- me personally, Ron Paul fits all of my views, every single one- I don't have to give one inch. =)

As far as the quote- I think what he meant was that the other candidates "monetary policies" are just like our tax codes- FUCKING THOUSANDS OF PAGES OF BULLSHIT TRYING TO EXPLAIN WHAT WE DO. lol.. Ron Paul's monetary policies are very cut and dry- and also backed my methods that actually have historical evidence of WORKING.. lol.. no other candidate can say that...
